Dr Farai Russell Sigauke has over a decade of experience as a medical practitioner in the private and public healthcare sectors. In 2004, Dr Sigauke attained his undergraduate medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Zimbabwe and subsequently acquired his specialist physician (FCP(SA)) and cardiology training (Cert. Cardiology (SA) Phys) from the University of Witwatersrand. He also holds a Master's degree (MMedSc(Med)) from the University of KwaZulu Natal.

Dr Sigauke was recently nominated for a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (FRCP(UK)) after being a member (MRCP(UK)) for a decade. Currently, he is completing his Doctoral degree (PhD) with the University of Witwatersrand, researching Peripartum Cardiomyopathy.
